  • they are transcribed with a dot under the letter : ḥa, ṣad, ḍad, ṭa, ẓa) : they are pronounced as if you had your mouth full.
• The ẖa (kha) letter is pronounced like the Spanishse jota (or the German ch).
• Letters ṯa, ḏal (tha, dhal) are pronounced as the English th:
  • tha like the English th in thing
  • dhal is pronounced like the English th in this.
• The letter ghayn also transcribed ġayn.
• The letter ɛayn transcribed ’ayn.
